Job Description

Uplift Therapy for Men is seeking to hire motivated therapists to join our team. The therapist will be responsible for providing individual, couples, family and/or group therapy to men of all ages and backgrounds. The ideal candidate will have experience working with men's mental health issues and/or a passion for helping men to achieve their full potential.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of promoting mental health and well-being among men in Ontario. The ideal candidate will have experience working with men on a variety of mental health concerns and be passionate about creating a supportive and inclusive therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual therapy sessions with adult men, addressing a range of mental health issues.

  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual needs.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care and support.

  • Stay current with advancements in the field of psychology and therapeutic techniques.

  • Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Registration and good standing with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.

  • Experience working with adult men in a therapeutic setting.

  • Experience with facilitating groups (not mandatory but good to have)

  • Conducting Psychological Assessments, interpreting results and writing comprehensive reports.

  • Competence in evidence-based therapeutic approaches for a variety of mental health concerns.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

  • Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).

  • Fluency in a second language an asset (not required)

Requirements

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

  • Proficient in maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and supervision.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
