Meet Robert
Hi, I’m Robert Mundle, and I’ve been working as a Registered Psychotherapist and Certified Spiritual Care Practitioner since 2003. I completed my clinical residency at Yale New Haven Hospital and then went on to work in hospitals in Sudbury, Toronto and Kingston, where I live now with my wife and son. I am a graduate of Yale University and the University of Toronto.
How I Can Support You
Feeling heard and understood is vital to all of our relationships both at work and at home. That’s my focus - to help you feel heard and understood on your healing journey towards wholeness in your relationships with yourself, with others and with what might be called the sacred in life.
I provide considerate, safe and respectful care, without discrimination as to race, ethnicity, color, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion and national origin.
I provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Spiritually Integrated Therapy that explores and draws on the strengths and resilience embedded in your own unique life experience and story. I have flexible appointment times online, including evenings and weekends.
Why Work With Me
I have extensive clinical experience helping others deal with the emotional and spiritual distress of trauma, grief and bereavement, rehabilitation, disability, conflict, family caregiver stress and burnout, and work-related stress and burnout.

Types of Therapy
-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps you identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. If you struggle with anxiety, depression, or negative self-talk, CBT teaches you practical strategies to challenge distorted thinking and develop healthier coping skills. By learning to reframe thoughts and take constructive actions, you can break free from cycles of stress and self-doubt. This evidence-based approach empowers you to manage emotions more effectively, build resilience, and create lasting positive change in your life.
-
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) helps you understand and reframe unhelpful thoughts related to traumatic experiences. If you struggle with guilt, shame, or distressing memories, CPT provides structured techniques to identify and challenge beliefs that keep you feeling stuck. By examining the ways trauma has shaped your thinking, you can develop healthier perspectives and regain a sense of control over your life. This evidence-based approach empowers you to process emotions more effectively, reduce trauma-related distress, and move forward with greater resilience.
-
Narrative Therapy helps you reframe and reshape the story you tell about yourself and your life. If you struggle with feelings of powerlessness, shame, or being defined by past experiences, this approach invites you to explore and rewrite the narratives that influence your thoughts and behaviors. By externalizing challenges and viewing them as separate from your identity, you can reclaim agency and find new meaning in your experiences. This empowering therapy encourages you to become the author of your own story, fostering self-empowerment, healing, and a renewed sense of purpose.
-
Spiritually-Integrated Psychotherapy blends psychological principles with spiritual practices to promote healing and personal growth. If you seek deeper meaning, connection, or understanding in your life, this approach recognizes the importance of your spiritual beliefs and experiences in the therapeutic process. By integrating mindfulness, meditation, and other spiritual tools with evidence-based therapeutic techniques, you can address emotional challenges while fostering a sense of purpose, inner peace, and alignment with your values. This approach supports healing on all levels—emotional, mental, and spiritual—helping you create a more fulfilling and harmonious life.
